Cholesterol. Commercialism. Fast Food.
For four days (since wednesday up to saturday), this has been my constant food. In those four days, I officially pronounce this menu in McDonalds’ my favorite in their fastfood: FRIES (without ketchup), ICED COFFEE, & BURGER. Very plain and simple yet so yummy. Hooray! Mooooore to eat! LOL
THE REUNION
This seldom happens so this event is worth the post. I guess this is the first ‘reunion’ that I have ever attended on my immediate Cuevas-Sario clan. I usually meet my relatives, on my mother side, when there is fiesta or kasalan.
This time when my mom told me that there will be some kind of meet up of the Cuevas-Sario family, I didn’t have a second thought to come with her, together with my three sister (the youngest one is really my niece but she claims we are siblings. so fine, we are. haha).
I can’t remember the last time I went to Bulusan, Mama’s barangay of origin, perhaps it had already been two or three years. It’s just ironic that I hadn’t visited the place for so long the fact that it’s only about 15 minute drive from our place. Well, when my katamaran takes over nothing happens.
It’s nice seeing them again. Obviously, things have changed yet some things have still remained the same. Nice seeing MAYs-and-PAYs, ATEs-and-KUYAs, and my pamangkins. See you again! More reunions to come. Weee!

DIBA NGA KASE may GAN’TO?
You may not agree now. But I know you will agree in the future. :D
Just awesome. Awesome.

The Dynamic Love Life of the Iberian Lynx
With an update from the Iberian Lynx breeding centre in Portugal, volunteer Sarah Havery describes the telltale signs of lynx courtship, and how it feels to welcome a new generation of the world’s rarest cat species.
by Sarah Havery
It has to be said, Iberian lynx courtship is far from an example of ideal society. I arrived at the ICNB centre in Portugal well into the breeding season, the couples were all paired up and the hormones were running high. So, as Alex Rowell did previously, I took up the role as a ‘video vigilante’ which involved 24 hour CCTV surveillance monitoring of the behaviour of the individual lynx, including the whole process of their courtship, which proved to be quite an interesting tale.
Being the most endangered cat species in the world, with just over 300 left in the wild, there is little room for romance – the pairing is mostly down to genetics. With numbers dwindling to critical levels there is a real need to maintain genetic diversity to reduce the effects of inbreeding. So somewhere far beyond the fences the couples were determined mainly by their genetic compatibility to help save the species…
